In Germany in contrast to USA only pharmacies have the right to sell
medicine. For some medicine like antibiotika you have to get a
prescription from a physician. If you require medicine outside the
regular hours (0900-1800 Monday to Friday and 0900-1200 Saturday (not
Wednesday afternoon or Sunday), you can look in front of pharmacy to
the sign
informing which pharmacie in the town is "on watch".
